The Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice has reported that a long-standing land dispute between two tribes in the Sarkano district of Kunar province has been resolved.
According to the ministry, local moral enforcers, in coordination with religious scholars, successfully mediated the conflict, which had persisted for four years. During the reconciliation process, the ministry’s representatives emphasized that disputes and violence are key sources of misfortune and called on all parties to address their problems through dialogue and mutual consultation.
