The Ministry of Interior reports that, with the mediation of religious scholars, tribal leaders, and local authorities, long-standing feuds among 327 families in Laghman province have been transformed into friendships over the past year.
These families are located in the districts of Mehtarlam city, Alingar, Dawlat Shah, Alishing, Qarghayo, and Badpakh.
According to the ministry, these disputes had resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of individuals.
Officials regard this as a significant step toward peace and reconciliation, urging the public to choose peace and brotherhood over conflict.
It should be noted that since the return of the interim government, through the efforts of tribal leaders and government officials, long-standing enmities within the community that had persisted for decades have been resolved into friendships, and this process is still ongoing.
