    Ministry of Interior: Large Cache of Weapons and Ammunition Discovered and Seized in Parwan

    Based on intelligence reports, security forces from the Parwan Provincial Police Command discovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition in the Lolanj area of Surkh Parsa district.

    The Ministry of Interior stated that security forces recovered dozens of various weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition from the site.

    According to the ministry, the seized items include one PK machine gun, a DShK heavy machine gun, a Krinkov, four Kalashnikov rifles, a Kalakov, one M4, one M40, one M49 rifle, three pistols, a grenade launcher, 16 hand grenades, 44 magazines, five boxes of PK ammunition, 35 grenade launcher rounds, 12 rocket rounds, 50 landmine detonators, three solar panels, projectors, and other equipment.

    The ministry added that one suspect has been arrested in connection with the cache, and the confiscated items have been handed over to the police command authorities.
