The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has launched 169 development projects in Zurmat district of Paktia province, with a total cost of approximately 236 million Afghanis.

In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed its commitment to balanced development, emphasizing that it continues to implement projects in remote areas of the country based on available resources.

According to the statement, the projects include the construction of rural roads, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and canals.

These projects will create employment opportunities for hundreds of workers during their implementation and, once completed, will help address key challenges faced by the residents of Zurmat district.
