The Acting Minister of Water and Energy, Mawlawi Abdul Latif Mansoor, stated during a meeting with Turkmenistan’s Ambassador, Khoja Ovezov, that the map for the TAPI project has been finalized and will soon be shared with Turkmenistan.

According to a statement from the ministry, both sides underscored the need for virtual meetings between their technical teams to further expedite the project’s implementation.

It is noteworthy that the TAPI project will transport Turkmenistan’s natural gas to Pakistan and India via Afghanistan, with Afghanistan expected to receive $400 million annually in transit fees along with a significant volume of gas.
