    Modi and Putin Praise Afghan Government’s Fight Against Terrorism

    Indian media reported that at the 23rd annual summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the Afghan government for its ongoing fight against terrorist groups.

    The joint statement stressed the urgent necessity of providing humanitarian aid to Afghanistan without delay.

    It also noted the close coordination between India and Russia on Afghan affairs, particularly through joint dialogue and cooperative mechanisms.

    Notably, President Putin is currently in India on an official state visit.
