The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment has announced that its First Deputy, Mohammad Younus Mohmand, met with Poland’s special envoy to Afghanistan to discuss strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
The source states that during the meeting, Mohmand stated that the top priority for trade cooperation between Afghanistan and Poland is the export of Afghan dried and fresh fruits, as well as processed mineral products. However, he noted that the lack of visa access for Afghan traders remains a major obstacle to conducting business with European countries.
The Polish envoy, in turn, pledged to facilitate visas for Afghan traders, support the import of Afghan products, and coordinate with relevant EU institutions to organize online meetings for enhanced trade collaboration.
