The Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, has reported that its moral officers in Zabul province’s Shamulzo district have rescued a woman who had been imprisoned in her home for six years.
The ministry stated that the woman had been locked in her home by her husband and mother-in-law, deprived of all her basic and Sharia rights during this period.
