The High Commission for Addressing Refugees’ Issues has reported that over 3,000 Afghan refugees returned to the country from Iran and Pakistan on Thursday.

The returning refugees entered through Islam Qala in Herat, the Pul-e-Abresham in Nimroz, Bahramcha in Helmand, Spin Boldak in Kandahar, and Torkham in Nangarhar.

Sources added that 904 returning families, totaling 5,045 individuals, were transported to their respective areas, and assistance was provided to 660 of those families.
