    More Than 5,500 Residential Plots Allocated to Returning Refugees in Six Provinces

    The Committee for Permanent Settlement and Land Distribution for Refugees has allocated 5,542 residential plots to returning refugees in six provinces of the country.

    Mullah Hamdullah Fetrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Afghan Government, said on behalf of the committee that the residential plots were distributed in Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Kunduz, Maidan Wardak, and Kandahar provinces.

    According to the information provided, Kandahar received the largest share, with 2,000 residential plots allocated.

    The committee stressed that the distribution of land to returning refugees is progressing rapidly.
