Afghan government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid wrote on his X account that numerous people who had been trapped in their homes due to flooding in the fourth and eighth security districts of Kunduz were safely rescued by security forces.
Mr. Mujahid added that officials from the Kunduz Police Command, the municipality, and intelligence authorities directly participated in the rescue operations.
