Mullah Hamdullah Fetrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Afghan government, noted the government’s key achievements over the past year, with notable progress in security, infrastructure, and social development.

Mr. Fetrat reported that during this period, 100,300 police officers successfully completed training in fields such as security, criminal investigation, border management, and logistics, while the number of trained military personnel under the Ministry of National Defense rose to 181,084.

The Deputy Spokesperson further noted that nine major dams were either completed or began construction across Afghanistan last year, along with 341 check dams, which are vital for water management.

He further noted that 35,228 individuals struggling with addiction received treatment and have returned to normal life.
According to Mr. Fetrat, a total of 10,664 street children in major cities were identified, registered, and provided with regular monthly support.
