Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon said that since Monday morning, at least 217 people have been killed and 798 others injured as a result of attacks by the Israel Defense Forces on Lebanon.

According to the ministry, due to the fighting and airstrikes, around 96,000 people have been displaced from their homes and have moved to safer areas.

Lebanese health officials said that rescue teams are still conducting search operations for people trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings, and the number of casualties may rise further.

Local sources in Lebanon say that the attacks by the Zionist regime have mostly targeted the country’s border and southern regions.

It is worth noting that direct clashes have also taken place in southern Lebanon between fighters of Hezbollah and Israeli soldiers, during which more than 10 Israeli troops were wounded.
