Gaza health officials have said that 18,500 people in the strip are in urgent need of medical treatment.

Officials stated that there is no capacity within Gaza to treat these patients and that they must be transferred abroad.

It is reported that Gaza’s healthcare system is under severe strain due to prolonged conflict, shortages of medicines, and a lack of equipment and fuel.

Gaza, which has been under attacks by the Zionist regime since October 2023, has seen nearly 90 percent of its infrastructure destroyed, in addition to its healthcare facilities.
