    Nearly 250 Afghan Refugees Released from Pakistani Prisons and Repatriated to Afghanistan

    Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation announced that 246 more Afghan refugees have been released from Pakistani prisons and returned to the country on the 27th of the current month(Thawr) of Solar Calendar.

    According to information from the border Departments of Spin Boldak in Kandahar and Torkham in Nangarhar, these individuals were detained in various areas of Pakistan and had been imprisoned for periods ranging from one to ten days.

    Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation added that after registration and receiving humanitarian assistance, the individuals were transported to their respective home areas.
