In 2023, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boldly promised to completely destroy Hamas. However, as 2025 begins, the situation has changed completely.

Israeli media have pointed out Netanyahu’s past remarks with a touch of sarcasm. Now, he is waiting for Hamas to decide on a proposed ceasefire.

Back in 2023, Netanyahu vowed to eliminate Hamas entirely. But the reality in 2025 is different. Netanyahu has stated that Israel is now waiting to see if Hamas will agree to a ceasefire or reject it.
