Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) said in a statement that its Operations Director, Engineer Safiullah Ahmadzai, said during a joint meeting with representatives of Kabul’s industrial sector that the company had purchased equipment worth a total of AFN 137 million to fundamentally address the overloading problem at Kabul Industrial Park, and efforts are underway to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
The statement added that Ahmadzai said DABS is using all available capacities to provide reliable electricity to industrial parks.
At the meeting, DABS Chief Executive Officer Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar said several projects are underway to address the shortage of electrical energy. He added that once the projects are completed, the energy shortage would be largely addressed and a continuous power supply would be provided to the industrial sector.
Hamkar assured industrialists that DABS’s doors are open to them to help resolve their problems.
The meeting emphasized ensuring a reliable electricity supply for the industrial sector, better management of existing capacities, and strengthening joint cooperation.
