The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing has approved the detailed plan for Section 2.1 of Phase One of New Kabul City, covering approximately 7,200 jiribs of land. The plan includes more than 10,000 residential plots, nearly 900 high rise residential and commercial buildings, and more than 200 industrial factories.
The ministry said the plan was prepared by Omarzai Development Company in line with the structural plan for Phase One and was approved by the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing.
Under the plan, the area will also have up to 60 mosques, 25 schools, more than 30 healthcare centers, educational, cultural, sports and recreational facilities, a cricket stadium, green spaces, parks and other urban facilities.
