Aron Nahari, a former member of Israeli intelligence and an expert in international relations, has called October 7 as a key changing moment in Palestinian history.
Speaking about the recent Gaza conflict, Nahari stated, “The war began and ended at Gaza’s gates. The outcome of a war is not measured by the number of casualties or the extent of destruction but by achieving strategic objectives.”
Referring to the success of Hamas and the Palestinians in the conflict, he added, “October 7 will stand as a golden chapter in Palestinian history—a vivid source of pride for them. For the Zionist Israeli regime, however, it will be a bitter memory, a harsh reality to accept. In this war, the Palestinians are the sole victors and heroes.”
