    Over 15 Million Electronic ID Cards Distributed Across Afghanistan Since Launch

    The National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) has announced that more than 15 million and 18 thousand electronic ID cards have been distributed across Afghanistan since the launch of the distribution process.

    According to NSIA’s statistics, 9 million and 67 thousand of these ID cards have been issued to men, while 5 million and 952 thousand have been issued to women.

    The majority of these electronic ID cards have been distributed in Kabul, Herat, Nangarhar, Balkh, and Kandahar provinces.
