The Kabul Municipality confirmed that authorities have seized more than 50 tons of expired and low-quality food and non-food items from a warehouse in the city’s 15th district.

The municipality stated that the seized goods will be moved to an official disposal site under the supervision of the Directorate of Environmental Health and Protection.

The head of Kabul’s 15th district called on vendors to avoid selling expired or low-quality products and assured residents that the municipality consistently monitors city markets to ensure public health and safety.
