The leadership of the Pakistani Taliban Movement has decided to implement a three-day ceasefire in celebration of Eid al-Fitr, with the goal of bringing joy to the people of Pakistan.

In a statement, the group’s spokesperson, Muhammad Khurasani, urged their forces across all fronts in Pakistan to refrain from any actions on the final day of Ramadan, as well as on the first and second days of Eid.

Mr. Khurasani also instructed their forces to defend themselves if “the enemy takes any action.”

It is important to note that the Pakistani Taliban Movement currently maintains an active presence in both large and small cities across Pakistan.
