The Pakistani Taliban movement claims that, after an attack in Kohat’s Lachi district several days ago, Pakistani police took several detainees from prison and killed them in a staged encounter.
According to sources, the staged encounter left seven police officers dead, including a senior officer, and destroyed two police vehicles.
The Pakistani Taliban movement also condemned the Pakistani regime as a cowardly enemy, accusing it of targeting detainees rather than engaging them directly on the battlefield.
Local Pakistani security officials claimed yesterday that six attackers were targeted in Kohat.
