The Pakistani Taliban, releasing a detailed infographic, reported that their fighters carried out 409 attacks in April targeting personnel of the Pakistani regime’s security institutions across Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The data shows that the attacks were primarily based in tribal and border regions. South Waziristan recorded the highest number, with 90 attacks, followed by Peshawar with 63 and North Waziristan with 60. A significant number of operations were also reported in Bajaur, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and Tank.

The report details a range of attack types, including sniper and laser-guided operations, guerrilla and offensive attacks, ambushes, explosions, and targeted attacks. Of these, sniper and laser operations made up the largest share, accounting for 109 attacks.

According to the report, 318 personnel from various Pakistani regime security institutions were killed and 378 others injured in the attacks, bringing the total casualties to 696. In addition, 13 individuals were reportedly captured.

The report further states that the security institutions suffered the heaviest losses, including personnel from the army, Frontier Corps, police, and intelligence agencies.

It also notes that dozens of security cameras, military vehicles, buildings, and other technical equipment were destroyed during the attacks.
