Local sources of the Voice of Hindukush in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa report that snipers from Pakistani Taliban attacked Pakistani soldiers in the Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan.
According to the source, the assault resulted in the immediate deaths of two soldiers and critically injured two others.
While Pakistani authorities have not officially commented, local sources indicate that such attacks have become increasingly common in the South Waziristan.
