The Qatari government has rejected reports claiming that Doha agreed to participate in any potential military action against Iran.
In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the allegations are false and are being circulated by parties seeking to further escalate regional tensions.
Doha stressed that it has neither participated in the past nor will it participate in any military action against Iran or any other neighboring country.
The ministry reaffirmed that Qatar’s foreign policy is founded on dialogue, mediation, and the peaceful resolution of disputes.
