Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Majed Al-Ansari, said that the Rafah border crossing must be fully opened to allow humanitarian aid to reach Gaza.

He added that Israel is using the Rafah crossing as a means of pressure, which is unacceptable.

The spokesperson further stressed that preventing the passage of thousands of patients through the Rafah crossing is a crime and that this issue must be resolved as soon as possible.

Al-Ansari also stated that the use of the Rafah border crossing as a tool of political pressure is unacceptable, and that the international community must take serious action to bring an end to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
