Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Pakistan has long been known as a country that supports terrorism, adding that its accusations of terrorism against neighboring countries lack credibility.
He made the remarks on Thursday during a press briefing, stating that Pakistan’s claims cannot be trusted because, according to him, the country has a long-standing record of backing militant groups.
Jaiswal added that no narrative or statement from Pakistan can change this reality, and the international community can no longer be misled into believing that Pakistan is a victim of terrorism.
According to him, many of the region’s security challenges are largely linked to the policies Pakistan has pursued for years.
