When a person’s conscience is devoid of wisdom, and only personal gain and the preservation of their position are considered important and vital, homeland, nation, religion, and people appear worthless in their eyes. To obtain a post, receive money, and gain foreign assistance and support, they will join hands with anyone and everyone, and their eyes will only see what is in front of them.
What the Resistance Front, led by Ahmad Massoud, is aiming for today is nothing more than driving Afghanistan into a valley of global political and economic sanctions, and they seem to consider this a proposal for a better future for Afghanistan.
With the view that military campaigns, troop deployments, and the reoccupation of Afghanistan are unprofitable today, and that their outcome will be like that of the Soviet Union and the United States, and with the lesson that such events in the past only led to the overthrow and collapse of the occupiers and their supporters, he has adopted a political-economic approach and is more in favor of sanctioning Afghanistan and preventing its progress in interactions with neighboring countries and the world.
In the thoughts and words of this new young man, there is nothing but a return to Afghanistan’s dark and ominous past, the collapse of the current progressive system, and the enslavement of Afghanistan in the yoke of blind obedience and submission to the leaders of Western countries; something that neither free humans accept nor is logical and rational.
He sees France – just as his father once considered it a supporter and savior, and repeatedly repeated this claim from his father’s lips – as the only solution and option for transformation and change. However, he doesn’t realize that the time for these stories has passed and ears are full from hearing them.
By stating that people around the world are unaware of the internal situation in Afghanistan, or that what is shown is the opposite of reality, he wants to strengthen his position of seeking help; however, he does not know that today the media is the real power in the world and nothing remains hidden from the eyes of the world. Afghanistan’s economic growth, ensuring nationwide security, progress in political and economic interactions, and even preserving territorial integrity are just a glimpse of everything that has happened since the end of the occupation and the expulsion of the occupiers from Afghanistan. The noble people of Afghanistan acknowledge this and consider it an undeniable reality. All these facts are reflected in national and international media and are brought to the attention of fair-minded individuals.
Ahmad Massoud doesn’t realize that with these words alone, he is displaying his own weakness, frailty, and even helplessness. Seeking help and support from foreigners only reveals his confusion and weariness, because the Western world will never extend a hand of support to anyone without first ensuring its own interests and benefits are met. Westerners are more astute than to act without considering the future of their actions or to be swayed by the words of a naive young upstart and throw themselves into the furnace of trials and dangers.
The more these fugitive opponents try to gain support or receive assistance, the more they expose their own guilt and inefficiency, causing no one to trust them.
Given the current governance in Afghanistan, there is no doubt that the world is taking a cautious approach and, instead of playing its trump card by throwing it into the box of burnt beads, is testing its luck thru wise and logical engagement with the current Afghan government, seeing bilateral benefits as more advantageous to itself.
So, all these meetings and discussions are nothing more than a useless and unproductive plan that will not yield any benefit and will ultimately harm the opponents instead of helping them.
