The recent attacks by Pakistan’s military regime on the provinces of Nangarhar and Paktika, whose victims were civilians (women, children, and the elderly), sparked widespread reactions at the national, regional, and international levels, and the Pakistani regime was identified as responsible for and the perpetrator of these assaults.
However, in this regard, leaders and members of the Resistance Front, as usual, echoed the Pakistani regime’s narrative and, in their statements, interviews, and posts, described the innocent women and children of Nangarhar as members of “terrorist groups.”
Dozens of accounts affiliated with the Resistance Front directly and indirectly supported Pakistan’s attacks and adopted a positive stance toward them.
These accounts include many unofficial media addresses and personal accounts of members of the front, who expressed satisfaction over the Pakistani attacks and described Afghanistan as a “center of terrorist groups.”
Likewise, in the official statements, interviews, and posts of the mentioned front, content has been reflected claiming that centers affiliated with the TTP were targeted in the recent attacks.
