A Reuters report states that the six-month war with Iran has brought significant political, economic and military consequences for the United States.
According to the report, Iran has not surrendered even after the war, shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has faced disruptions, and the conflict has put global energy markets under pressure.
Reuters adds that the war has also negatively affected U.S. President Donald Trump’s popularity at home, while rising oil prices have intensified pressure over the cost of livelihood expenditures.
