The Khost Municipality has completed the construction project of road and canals for the new vehicle markets near Sheikh Zayed University in Khost City. The project has now been formally handed over for public use.

The project includes 690 meters of roadway, 1,420 meters of sub drainage canals, a 600-meter main drainage canal, 690 meters of pedestrian pathways, and three culverts. The total cost of the project amounted to 22 million Afghanis.

This project is part of ongoing efforts by municipal authorities across the country. Such initiatives play an important role in enhancing urban aesthetics, reducing traffic congestion, and promoting economic growth.
