The Associated Press reports that Russia and Ukraine have exchanged 270 military and 120 civilian prisoners.

According to the report, the exchange took place on Friday, with additional exchanges scheduled for today, Saturday, and tomorrow, Sunday.

Reports indicated that the agreement for this exchange was reached during negotiations between the two countries in Istanbul, Turkey.

It is worth noting that Russian and Ukrainian representatives agreed on the exchange of 2,000 prisoners last week in Istanbul.
