CNN reported that Russia launched a heavy barrage of ballistic missiles against Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, on Tuesday morning.
The attack came just one day after US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner visited the region in an effort to revive peace talks that had stalled.
Ukrainian officials said the attack involved ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones.
According to Kyiv authorities, six people were injured in the attack, while residential buildings were also damaged.
