Ukrainian media have reported that six people were killed and the country’s power transmission network was damaged as a result of Russia’s large-scale attacks on Ukraine.

Sources say that following extensive Russian strikes on energy facilities across Ukraine, electricity was cut off in many parts of the country.

Ukrainian officials stated that this was the largest drone and missile attack by Russia since the beginning of the war between Ukraine and Russia.

Russia carried out strikes in 25 locations across the country, including the capital, Kyiv.
