    Russia: Over 6,000 Ukrainian Drones Shot Down in December

    Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems shot down 6,503 Ukrainian drones over Russian airspace in December.

    According to the ministry, the drones were intercepted and downed across several Russian regions, especially in areas bordering Ukraine.

    The Russian Defense Ministry stated that Ukraine attempted to use the drones to target Russia’s energy facilities and civilian infrastructure.
