A delegation from Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) the state-run electricity company has held meetings in Russia with senior representatives of several major and reputable Russian power generation and technical firms.
DABS noted that, based on the understandings reached during these meetings, the two sides will cooperate in the expansion of electricity networks, technical training, and other key areas of the power sector.
According to sources, technical teams from Russian companies are expected to visit Afghanistan in the near future, where joint teams from both sides will begin coordinated work on the implementation of electricity-related projects.
DABS added that such cooperation could help form a more stable and continuous electricity supply throughout the country, while also strengthening domestic power generation capacity and the national electricity grid.
