Local sources told the Voice of Hindukush that a man who recently murdered his father with an axe in the Qaisar district of Faryab province was arrested by security forces on Monday.
The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Abdul Karim, had been on the run after the incident. He was tracked by police and arrested in nearby areas of Qaisar, before being handed over to the relevant authorities.
