The Nangarhar Provincial Media Office reported in a press release that security forces in Chaparhar district rescued an individual from the clutches of kidnappers and handed him over to his family.
According to the statement, the rescued person is a driver who was abducted three days ago from areas related to Chaparhar district. The kidnappers had demanded 100,000 US dollars from his family.
Meanwhile, the rescued individual and his family expressed their gratitude to the security forces for their timely action, which saved them from physical and financial harm.
