The central spokesperson of the interim government, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, announced that senior security officials have presented a security report to the leadership, leading to important decisions.
According to Mujahid, Minister of Interior Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of National Defense Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, Director of Intelligence Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, Deputy Minister of Defense Mullah Abdul Qayyum Zakir, and Deputy Minister of Interior Mawlawi Mohammad Nabi Omari met with the leadership of the interim government in Kandahar to discuss the country’s security situation.
Mujahid stated that during the meeting, the leadership reviewed the proposals of these security authorities and provided necessary directives regarding their operational focus areas and their implementation.
Furthermore, key decisions were made to enhance coordination, improve equipment, and strengthen overall capacity.
