Local sources from Bannu district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa say that late last night, a self-sacrificial and armed attack was carried out on a major police center of Pakistan’s military regime in the district’s market area.
Sources said that a self-sacrificial bomber detonated his vehicle next to the police center, while other attackers began an armed clash.
Sources close to the regime confirmed that at least five people were killed and five others injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, independent sources indicate that the number of casualties is several times higher.
Videos circulated from the scene of the attack show that the police center was nearly completely destroyed.
