According to American media reports, two separate shootings recently occurred in the U.S. states of New York and Nevada, leaving seven people dead and four others injured.

The Associated Press reported that the first attack happened in the city of Reno, Nevada, where two people were killed and four others wounded.

The second shooting took place in Manhattan, New York City, where five people—including a police officer and the attacker himself—were killed.

The New York Post reported that the shooter was a man who had a history of mental health issues.

The identities of the victims in both incidents have not yet been disclosed.

It is worth noting that incidents of gun violence have significantly increased across major and smaller cities in the United States in recent times, raising public concerns.
