In its latest report, the United States Congress states that Pakistan remains a key hub for the activities of various terrorist groups, with some reportedly using its territory to plan attacks against other countries.

The report states that these groups have long operated in Pakistan and, in recent years, have become a serious threat to regional security.

The report further states that Pakistan’s coordination with these groups has strained its relations with neighboring countries, pushing tensions to the brink of open conflict.

Previously, the spokesperson of the Afghan government, Zabihullah Mujahid, has repeatedly stated that militant groups remain active inside Pakistan and that its territory is being used to orchestrate attacks against Afghanistan.
