The Minister of Higher Education, Sheikh Nida Mohammad Nadim, inaugurated a specialized seminary for the Ifta and Qaza in Kunar province during an official visit.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Nadim said such seminaries have been established to standardize and strengthen the functioning of courts throughout the country.
He noted that graduates of these seminaries will be able to serve effectively within the judicial system, the endowments sector of the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs, as well as in religious schools and universities.
The Minister added that just as master’s and doctoral programs exist in modern sciences, there is also a need for specialized academic programs in religious fields.
