    Substation Construction Project for Parwan’s Barikab Industrial Park Approved

    Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) has announced that the Economic Commission has officially approved the construction project of a 220/20 kV substation in Barikab Industrial Park, Parwan province, with a total cost of nearly 360 million Afghanis.

    The source added that the technical documents for this major project had already been prepared by the Programs Directorate of DABS.

    The substation will include two transformers with a capacity of 63 MVA each (totaling 126 MVA), 12 output feeders, and a “Line B”.

    The construction work on the Barikab substation is scheduled to be completed within approximately 18 working months after the contract is signed.

    Once completed, the project will provide reliable electricity not only to the Parwan Industrial Park but also to many residential houses, commercial centers, healthcare facilities, and other relevant sectors.
