The Ministry of Water and Energy has announced the inauguration of the Surkhab Dam maintenance and preservation project, along with two check dam projects, in Logar Province. The ceremony was attended by Acting Minister Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, provincial officials, and local residents.
During the ceremony, Acting Minister Mansoor highlighted the critical importance of the Surkhab Dam to the residents of Mohammad Agha District, describing the completion of its maintenance as a significant achievement.
Mr. Mansoor emphasized that officials of the interim government have been diligently working toward national development, implementing numerous projects across various sectors over the past three years.
The Surkhab Dam maintenance and preservation project was implemented by the Ministry of Water and Energy at a cost of 11 million Afghanis.
