Al Arabiya news network, citing its sources, has reported that Syria’s new government will be announced next Saturday.
The report further states that on Friday, the formation of Syria’s Iftaa Council and the appointment of the country’s Grand Mufti will also be officially announced.
In late November of the previous year, opposition groups led by Tahrir al-Sham launched operations from northern Syria, and on December 8, they overthrew Bashar al-Assad’s government in Damascus.
At that time, Syria’s new authorities declared the establishment of an interim government for a three-month period.
