    Talks Held on Engagement and Coordination Between the Afghan Government and UN Agencies

    The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, met with Indrika Ratwatte, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations to Afghanistan and Resident Coordinator in Afghanistan.

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, both sides discussed engagement and coordination between the Afghan government and UN agencies.

    Mr. Muttaqi praised Indrika’s role as the UNAMA Humanitarian Coordinator in Afghanistan and wished her success in her future mission.

    According to the ministry’s statement, the Acting Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission and Chief of the Political Affairs Section, Georgette Gagnon, along with other members of the delegation, also attended the meeting.
