    TAPI Gas Pipeline in Afghanistan Picks Up Pace!

    In a recent press release, the Herat Provincial Office announced that the Director General of the TAPI Project, Murad Amanov, met with Herat Governor Mawlana Islam Jar and a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, Amanov assured that the progress of the TAPI Project is accelerating and shared that 3 kilometers of the pipeline have been extended within Afghanistan.

    The press release further stated that Governor Islam Jar assured the TAPI Project Director of all necessary facilitation from local authorities to speed up the work.

    The entire length of the TAPI gas pipeline, stretching from Turkmenistan to India, is 1814 kilometers. Of this, 816 kilometers pass through Afghanistan, crossing Herat, Farah, and Kandahar provinces.
