The Panjshir Directorate of Mines and Petroleum has announced the discovery of ten new tourmaline mines across several districts of the province.
Mohammad Qasim Amiri, head of the provincial Directorate of Mines and Petroleum, said the mines were identified in Anaba, Rokha, Abshar, and Paryan districts.
He said the surveys were conducted by engineering and technical teams from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, noting that exploration and development will continue in the coming stages.
